Community Services and Student Council

The student council is comprised of one student representing each phase. Students are encouraged to volunteer or they may be selected by their peers to serve as leaders of the school and promote the “Aloha Spirit”.

The student council primarily operates as a means of leadership and act as an “ombudsman” to foster a healthy relationship with administrators and faculty. It provides students with an avenue to bring about concerns to the school, as well as provides a means of communicating with the school administrators and faculty members.

The student council may plan activities partnering with other health organizations or non-profit organizations for the betterment of community health and wellness with American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, River of Life, Lanakila Meals on Wheels, and St. Johns Health Ministry in providing community service volunteer opportunities for students.
